This item arrived with most items badly scratched in a clearly opened box. There is oxidation, dent, fingerprints, and all sorts of crap on the parts. Even dents on the outside of the chrome cover that are way too deep to use polish for. The chrome would begin to flake in no time since there is such damage on the inside of the cover, even on the edges, from god know what.
Either S&S is selling pure crap (I don't believe that at all and I will contact S&S directly regarding this). Option two is that, and this is an educated guess, MotoAction has sold me a returned item in bad condition but marketed it as brand new. As a biker, I will of course not accept this. Someone will have to send another, new kit in the pristine condition I expect from S&S. I couldn't be more disappointed and sad. This is not going on my ride.
